November's Quote and Song of the month

Hey Peoplz,
I'm sorry I haven't done this in awhile, there has just been TONS of stuff going on. So without further ado, this month's quote and song:

"To avoid criticism, say nothing, do nothing, be nothing."
Aristotle.

Dark Side by Kelly Clarkson.

it's not pretty there and few have ever goneif i show it to you nowwill it make you run away

or will you stayeven if it hurtseven if i try to push you outwill you return?and remind me who i really amplease remind me who i really am

everybody's got a dark sidedo you love me?can you love mine?nobody's a picture perfectbut we're worth ityou know that we're worth itwill you love me?even with my dark side?

like a diamondfrom black dustit's hard to knowwhat can becomeIf you give upso don't give up on meplease remind me who i really am

everybody's got a dark sidedo you love me?can you love mine?nobody's a picture perfectbut we're worth ityou know that we're worth itwill you love me?even with my dark side?

will you love me? ohh

everybody's got a dark sidedo you love me?can you love mine?nobody's a picture perfectbut we're worth ityou know that we're worth itwill you love me?even with my dark side?

I'd like to explain what this month's quote and song means to me.
Dark Side, is just an amazing song. Kelly Clarkson is an amazing singer and she's got some songs that cut deep into me, they're just amazing. This song says exactly what it means. Nobody's picture perfect, all we can do is strive to be perfect, but none of us will totally make it in one day, month, year, decade, or century. But we're each worth more than we think. Way more. Even though none of us is totally perfect, in the eye's of the lord, we're worth much much much more than what we think and what everyone around us tells us.

This quote was given as an assignment in English, he had us copy down the quote then write an at least one page long narrative on what it means to us. And now I love it. This quote basically means that each and every one of us will be criticized at least once in our life. It may be positive criticism, but it may also be negative criticism. This quote means that if we can't handle Any kind of criticism in our life, then we should just give up, not do anything with our lives, do nothing with our lives. We all have to be able to stand criticism if we're to succeed in our missions in life.

I hope that you like this month's quote and song, because I love both the quote and the song.

Love Ya!

Hey!

Hey Everyone!!!
I hope that there are still people following my blog, even though I haven't posted anything in a long time :D
Here are some updates on the crazy road that i'm going on, also called life :P

I started Meadow Valley Middle School Full Time,
I met lots of awesome people,
I moved BACK to the states,
I attended my first MVMS Pride Trip* and had a BLAST!!
I learned a ton of stuff!

That's basically it :P
* For everyone who doesn't live in Lincoln County, the Pride Trip is a kind of field trip that they have at the end of each quarter and everyone who has enough Pride Points and wants to can go. We went to Laser Mania over in Saint George for this one, next we're going skiing (i don't know where, will have to ask a friend about that)

I have a thing that I (hope) will be able to do, my english teacher gives us these AMAZING quotes in english that we have to write a one page narrative on them. I will be posting the quotes on here once a week and explaining them, well giving you my explanation of them more like :)
And I changed the title of my blog, seeing as the old wasn't suitable for where I am now. So the new blog title is:
My Adventures.
that way it spans all of my crazy things :D

Love ya!

July's Song and quote of the month!!!

Hey Peoplz!!
Sooo you all must want to know what this month's song and quote of the month is.
The song:
Just a Dream,
By Carrie Underwood.
It was two weeks after the day she turned eighteen
All dressed in white
Going to the church that night
She had his box of letters in the passenger seat
Sixpence in a shoe, something borrowed, something blue
And when the church doors opened up wide
She put her veil down
Trying to hide the tears
Oh she just couldn't believe it
She heard trumpets from the military band
And the flowers fell out of her hand

Baby why'd you leave me
Why'd you have to go?
I was counting on forever, now I'll never know
I can't even breathe
It's like I'm looking from a distance
Standing in the background
Everybody's saying, he's not coming home now
This can't be happening to me
This is just a dream

The preacher man said let us bow our heads and pray
Lord please lift his soul, and heal this hurt
Then the congregation all stood up and sang
the saddest song that she ever heard
Then they handed her a folded up flag
And she held on to all she had left of him
Oh, and what could have been
And then the guns rang one last shot
And it felt like a bullet in her heart

Baby why'd you leave me
Why'd you have to go?
I was counting on forever, now I'll never know
I can't even breathe
It's like I'm looking from a distance
Standing in the background
Everybody's saying, he's not coming home now
This can't be happening to me
This is just a dream

Oh,
Baby why'd you leave me
Why'd you have to go?
I was counting on forever, now I'll never know
Oh, now I'll never know
It's like I'm looking from a distance
Standing in the background
Everybody's saying, he's not coming home now
This can't be happening to me
This is just a dream

Oh, this is just a dream
Just a dream
Yeah, Yeah

And the Quote:
"We Believe in ordinary acts of bravery,
in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another."
-Dauntless Manifesto, Divergent by Veronica Roth.
 Soo,
hope you liked this month's song and quote. By the way I watched the music video for the song, and it was really sad. And if you want to find this month's quote read Divergent by Veronica Roth, it is a pretty good book too.
See YA!!!

The Hunger Games.

Hey Peoplz!
So for those who don't know, me, Ema, and a couple other friends got to go see The Hunger Games in the theater. This is what I thought of it.
It was really good, but I have to confess, I didn't remember much of it the next morning. Mainly because we had to catch the 9:00 pm showing :-/ so the movie didn't end until quarter after 11-11:30ish. It was also rushed. Like they didn't have enough time so they needed to skip a part so they could finish the movie. But over all it was a really good movie, even if it was a bit graphic. Definitely not a movie for kids under than 10. Kids 10 and up can watch it, but only with adults watching it too, that's just my recommendation, you don't have to do what I recommend. I will post more about that night, but for now, I should go now,
SEE YA!!!
